The fifth edition of the Sanremo Marathon awaits you along the spectacular scenery that from the Casino of Sanremo runs along the city of flowers and the coastal park of the Riviera dei Fiori, passing through the villages of Arma di Taggia, Riva Ligure, Santo Stefano al Mare and Ospedaletti, for 42 kilometres and 195 metres entirely on the coast of the Ligurian Sea.
You can also take part in the competitive 21 km, the non-competitive 10 km and the Family Run, open to adults and children, for a great celebration of sport and tourism.

Marathon
The San Remo Marathon will start from the city of flowers and music and will also arrive back in San Remo, by taking the Pedestrian Cycle Path of the Coastal Park of the Riviera of Flowers. A breathtaking route of 42.195 km where you will discover the most beautiful towns and villages of Western Liguria.
10 k
The San Remo 10 K will start from San Remo, progressing along the Pedestrian Cycle Path of the Coastal Park of the Riviera of Flowers to arrive back in San Remo. A route of 10 km with the opportunity to discover the most evocative views of the Riviera.
Family Run
The Family Run will be held in San Remo on a route around the city of about 3 km which starts from the Corso Imperatrice.

CYCLING RIVIERA:
THE COASTAL PARK OF THE FLOWER RIVIERA
In 2000 the Flower Riviera saw the birth of an epochal work, waited for a century: the upstream moviment and the doubling of the raiway tracks. The moviment of the trains towards the hinterlands released an extremely valuable area at direct contact with the sea, where there once was in 1870 a railway that connected Italy with France. The institutions decided to take advantage of this incredible opportunity launching a company, Area 24 SpA, with the task to transform the old disused railway line in a real natural coastal park, crossed by a bike path long 24 km. This is the Cycling Riviera, where all the races related to the San Remo Marathon take place.
AMARCORD: THE FIRST EDITION OF THE SANREMO MARATHON
In 2007, with the inauguration of the bike path, Sanremo and the Riviera dei Fiori were provided with an exceptional tourist infrastructure, and it was possible for the AS Foce with the support of the City of Sanremo to organize the first edition of the Sanremo Marathon. In the video of Roberto Pecchinino, whom we thank for his kind permission, we can relive that first edition in which a great friend of Sanremo, Gianni Morandi, took part with the number 63.
