Ospedaletti RUN Regulations (~5K)

The Sanremo Marathon Organizing Committee, with the technical organization provided by the Pro San Pietro Sports Association, is hosting the 2nd edition of the non-competitive Ospedaletti Run event in Ospedaletti on Saturday, November 30, 2024. The event covers a distance of approximately 5 kilometers.

• Course: 2 laps on the cycle and pedestrian path of the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park: from the former train station, along the cycle path towards the east – U-turn – Cycle Path towards the west – U-turn – Finish at the former train station
• Finish Line: Ospedaletti, former train station 
• Distance: Approximately 5 kilometers, on a measured but not certified course

PARTICIPATION CRITERIA FOR THE 5K

In the full spirit of our Family Runs, everyone of all ages can participate in the 5K.

REGISTRATION METHODS FOR THE 5K

a) Online registration until November 24 through the official event website, for payments via bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Paypal.

b) Online registration until November 29 through the official event website, for payments via Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Paypal.

c) Direct registration at the organization’s logistics base in Sanremo, open on the days indicated on the event schedule page.

REGISTRATION FEE AND DEADLINE FOR THE REGISTRATION TO THE MARATHON

All bank and credit card fees are the responsibility of the athlete.

Administrative fees: 6%.

Requests for complimentary registrations must be made by sending an email through the website.

THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE NON-COMPETITIVE RACE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

• Medical assistance
• Civil liability insurance
• Official participation medal, reserved for those who complete the course
• Race pack
• Guaranteed technical garment for online registrants with payment made by November 20 (meaning the date when the organization receives payment)
• Race bib
• Timing service
• Refreshment stations along the course
• Final refreshment at the finish
• Bag deposit

5K TIME LIMIT

The time limit to complete the race is set at 1 hour.

TECHNICAL ENVELOPE AND RACE PACK COLLECTION

The technical envelope, containing the bib and the chip, as well as the race pack, can be collected at the organization’s logistics base in Ospedaletti on the days indicated on the event schedule page.

Collection can also occur via delegation, provided that the confirmation letter of registration and all the required documents are presented.

BAG DEPOSIT SERVICE

Participants in the 5K can deposit their belongings until 08:30 at a dedicated stand set up by the organization in the designated starting area in Ospedaletti. The organization disclaims all responsibility for the potential loss of items.

5K AWARDS

The awards for the Ospedaletti Run will be presented starting around 12:30 for the overall winners.

The top three overall male and female finishers will be awarded.

There are no category awards.

NON-PARTICIPATION

Registration is personal and non-transferable to another athlete and is non-refundable in case of non-participation for any reason.

AFFILIATED HOTELS

Affiliated hotels can be booked directly on the official event website.

PARTICIPANT PHOTOGRAPHS

There will be a photography service covering the race.

FINAL REMARKS

The Organization reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time for reasons it deems appropriate for better race organization.

Any changes to services, locations, and times will be appropriately communicated to registered athletes or posted on the website www.sanremomarathon.it. Additionally, essential race information will be provided by the organization along with the bib.

Privacy

By registering for the Ospedaletti Run 5K, the athlete authorizes the organization to process their personal data for the purpose of managing the registration and related services (such as the official photography service), including timing, rankings, as well as periodic communication of information related to the event, the hosting territory, and other similar events.

Image Rights

By registering for the Ospedaletti Run 5K, the athlete expressly authorizes the Organization, along with sponsors and media partners, to acquire the right to use still or moving images on which they may appear, on all media, including promotional and/or advertising materials, worldwide and for the maximum time allowed by current laws, regulations, and treaties, including any extensions that may be made to the specified period.
